I did followed up. From project DM to practice DM to get nominated and project DM sent a mail to practice DM with requested details and then he nominated and then he confirmed.

Usually it is the other way around. Since there could be a hike with promotion, they reduce msi hike.

You will. Promotion and MSI are 2 different things. You might call in quarterly band progression category

Do not mix MSI, and promotion both are separate. Plus you will get additional hike with promotion. Min 10%
