Now with Role based promotions, first step is to get yourself allocated on Next Band RLS ..you should be allocated on B2 band for 3,6 months and you clear all other criteria like myskilz and all then you get promoted automatically,
This role based promotion, will it confirm after 3 or 6 months if we are in next band allocation? and when can we expect hike for this role change after this period or in allocation?
If you are tagged to the next role from 1st jul onwards after 3/6/9 months you get promoted automatically provided you fulfill all other criteria too (myskillz, last promotion etc) and unless manager defer promotion on non performance. 3/6/9 months varies by critical ratings and other ratings, same account or in different account etc

Is it possible to join the upper band in the next project? If there was no band progression for 3 years in the last project.

for you promotion , you should be mapped in N+1 role in project detail of psp page that is the indication of promotion eligibility and that can be done by your manager
Don't expect anything. Reach out to your manager. Ask for a glide path and nomination. Ensure you are on top of your career vision
