Trending @Wipro; Have you enrolled to health insurance?

I've done the analysis and it totally depends on your personal condition of family. If your parents have existing diseases, the comprehensive plan is great, you won't find any other retail plan without waiting periods.
I personally have taken both retail as well as Wipro plans for different members. Those who don't have existing diseases, its better to take retail plan as it won't have 10-15% copay and you also won't have to deal with Vidal TPA which seems like a pain from what Ive seen others comment.

Thanks for the information

Also the 25% people who have chosen none of the above, you are in for a big surprise if anyone faces a medical emergency. Few years back my mom was hospitalized with heart issues and we were burning through ₹1 lakh/day. Sadly, i was too overconfident that nothing will happen and had not taken a single insurance. I cant even imagine what are the costs risen to today with 15-20% medical inflation per year.
Insurance is a necessity, not an investment. I see the premium as an amount that is not mine, its not part of my salary at all. Subtract it from your CTC, thats your actual CTC. Don't do the mistake I did.
