Try to delay resigning as much as possible. Company prefers you to resign than to terminate you. If they terminate they have to give justification to Govt Labour dept etc

Have a written confirmation from them over mail or something. So, if they don't you will have proof.

I don't think they will pay 2 months salary if you resign volunteerily.

If you are in LOP and that is the reason HR is asking to resign then you can get early release and if you serve notice period for 3 months then it doesn't mean you will get 3 month salary , so it's better to get early release .
And if you want to be in wipro and don't want to give resign then try hard to get project.
And if you don't put resign then HR will terminate by their side which might be give negative impact.

Did you ask for time to think! Or you said yes!! On call? I am also facing the same so asked, I'm having call now..

Let me give you some insight. Even though they say that they would give you 2 or 3 months' basic salary but they will not show that in your relieving letter. Whatever is your last working day in wipro, your relieving letter will have that. Ask your HR to write an email mentioning the last working day and everything else. Do not go by their words.
Wipro sucks.

HR will forse u to resign but if u resign there job will be easy , try to convince them and don’t put resignation unless u get another opportunity ,
