Trending @Wipro; Getting forced to work on week off
An assessment of tasks was assigned to me without giving training and my managers and senior manager called me to complete it on my week off.
I told them that I am not trained on it so they kept training at night 11 pm on my week off though it's my morning shift .
I told them i couldn't join due to my personal commitment and it's 11pm so I cannot So next morning I got mails like I was not present on my training and on my 2nd day of week off i completed the work because my manager told me that it may impact my promotion which i recently gave interview
So they were continuously calling me, pinging me and when my family member picked the call they even shouted on them what to do in this case
Can somebody help me ! Am going through lot of pressure
Ha ha , it’s common in Wipro, they are not review our performance, they are review how be a solace of Managers, I face one incident,I took 6 day vacation for brother’s marriage function, the vacation is approved by even client and project manager. Day started my vacation Delivery Head (Raghu Kalappurayil-Chevron Project) asked to we have urgent work need to finish with 2 days. I said am in vacation assign to some one. He said if u want to continue in Wipro, u ve to finish this work. I said , I won’t work.Coz of this issue, they rated me 2. No increment and promotion and released me from the project. I complained to HR department, that’s another comedy, the asked me to go PIP program, they are just puppets of Managers. If you have proper evidence , raise the complaint to Wipro Ombudsman.
Thanks for your suggestion...as you said ombuds is the best option i hope and i am sorry that you are gone through the similar kind of incident. I don't know why these people torture employees like this
Don't know..what is happening in wipro day by day..everyday worst to worst case hearing. Not sure...in early days....such things was not happening or I was not aware only. Spent 5.5 years in wipro.
I gave my first round of interview at Infosys 8 days ago. Recently, the status changed to 'Shortlisted After Screening.' What does this mean? Should I take it as a positive sign, or is it a sign that I might not get a confirmation?
are they paying you extra for working on weekends ?!
