Why the people here are posting those questions here which they can easily ask from their colleagues?
Because many of us have WFH and project size is small so collagyes don't know everything, this look like good platform, i don't understand why this is bothering you

If you cant talk to people, cant force your HR to answer your questions, you are a dead employee then.
Example: whenever my HR doesnt reply me, what I used to do is cced his manager and he instantly replies

Looks like you have enough time to run behind people rather than using such innovative platform. I have much work to do so I will prefer to get my info in less time.
Btw you can ask your HR why employees use grapevine rather than asking here, make sure to cc his manager if he doesn't reply 😂

I think finding answers without hiding loopholes is better than asking for HR who can sometimes be biased and judgemental is better
Why people dont have believe in the organization for which they invest their life's precious time, if HR is biased we can read policy documents or raise ombuds, I hope there would be no loopholes in policy documents. Right🙂
Because the knowns once can not be trusted nowadays, so people go for strangers and anonymous ones
