I have been working at a project for about 5 years. My manager has deferred me from rotation. So I need to stay in this project for another 6 months. But I am seeing a lot of internal opportunities with my skills. Is it possible for me to move out? If so will I get any wage increase? Or if I continue in the same will I get any retention bonus?

If you’re deferred you don’t have a choice to move to other projects at least for 6 more months as you’ve been identified as a critical resource. Best to wait it out
