Trending @Wipro; Data Engineer / DevOps Engineer?

Hi, I’m currently working as production support in an E-commerce clothing account with skill set of AWS, SQL and Python. My band is WASE. I’m in my 4th sem of Mtech. Now I’m thinking to switch to another company and role as well. My questions are as below,

1. Is it advisable to drop MTech? ( I come from BSC IT bg)
2. I’m confused to choose between Data Engineer and DevOps Engineer. Which will be the better and appropriate switch?
3. What Package can I expect if I switch?
