Trending @Wipro; Clarification Needed on Swiping Policy for Hybrid Work
Hi everyone, I’m reaching out to understand if there have been any recent changes in the swiping policy related to hybrid work.
I used to swipe in and swipe out within 10 minutes while on campus to comply with the hybrid model expectations (mainly to mark my presence). However, I recently received a show cause notice for being on campus for only a few minutes.
Has anyone else faced a similar issue, or is there an updated guideline on minimum on-campus duration that I may have missed? Any guidance on how to respond or clarify this would be really appreciated.

Where does this minimum hour thing comes to you guys .... Where ever you are working from you need to complete your day, if you are working from office you should work for the entire day i.e 8 hours and done with it .... Otherwise why would company ask for wfo...company has all the right to ask you why you are swiping for 10 mins..its non compliant with org policies

Non compliant ? Nice joke. There’s not even proper network with in the office. Can’t even open the damn cloud portal for work purpose with the staywifi. And you’re saying have to work 8 hours ? 😆 I’m not really sure what’s your day to day work. But most of the developers work involves working with different websites and portals and with the current network which Wipro provides we can’t even work for an hour max. People sitting at higher positions like you will never understand the issues employees have and face. Even if we Complain to you delivery managers, they simply don’t care because you’re not the one who has to answer clients about the work. We have to. So keep your BS policies to yourself and try to first interact and understand your reporting employees under you.
Thanks for alerting us. In your defense you can say you are spending 9 hours working at home. Hope you are logging only 9.5 hrs in mytime
There is no such rule which indicates minimum on-campus duration. Even hr confirmed for us the same. Please share the ss.
