I resigned from wipro and now they are asking to pay 70k bonus in F&F .This is so ridiculous an employee will be stucked in this loop for lifetime whenever he will leave, he has to pay the amount otherwise they will hold the relieving letter. Any ways to deal with this ?
You are thinking to pay back 70k Me: crying in the corner to pay back. 2.3L instead of buying a scrambler 400x with that. 😒

What if I am in bench and they ask to leave. Should I still pay back the bonus?
Can somebody give the context, is it joining bonus or yearly bonus? How long we should serve the company once got bonus?
There is a retention period, which should be there in your contract. Once you complete the time period there is no need of paying bonus money back. But if you leave the company before your retention period. Than you might have to pay
They are asking to give them back the bonus which was even credited on 31.12.23 25000 that to they are asking to give back I don't understand why the hell are you providing the bonus employee can't leave the company in that case because when the cool off period for bonus will be over you will be given the new bonus scheme then again you are in loop .
What is the 70k for? Did you buy any furniture etc ?

You should serve atleast 1 year with Wipro otherwise you are entitled to give back the bonus amount
