I am in B1 for more than 18 months , so I am eligible for promotion to B2 right?

Hello, I will complete one year in Wipro in May. I joined in band B3 and working on client project. Whom should I need to reach out for promotion?Who will decide the criteria? Onsite manager or Wipro?

18 months should be completed then you will be eligible for promotion after that you need to reach you manager so that they can nominate you.

Yes, but you have to clear a practice based skill competency exam and Your manager should promote your band progression then only you will get it. For me I spent 2.5 years but was not promoted to band B2.

From my team no one has got band promotion from the past 2 years.Either B1 to B2 or B2 to B3.Every time some or the other stories from managers and HR.HR will blame Managers and manager will blame on someone.At last they said we have nominated but they did not select for promotion. So my advice would be start packing your bag and move out.
