Trending @Wipro; B3 to C1 promotion cycle
I joined as B3 in 2022 and there is no hike in that year as I am not eligible and later in 2023 received 8.9% hike but not receiving variable pay morethan 60%. This year they gave me 3 rating stating last year you've got 4 (sense less reason) and now I am holding offer from other company with 45% hike and my manager is saying he will give promotion with 30% hike. Need suggestions.
Grab the offer with 45% hike. Don't fall into the trap of promotion. I have been waiting for my promotion for 2 cycles now. Everytime I am given some stupid reason for not getting promoted. Leave Wipro and don't look back!

When you have 45%, why do you wait for 30%?
If you think the new company is good enough I would say switch asap. Wipro manager will have to take millions of approvals to give a 30 % hike which is impossible.
Grab the offer with 45% hike. U might get some stupid reason for not getting promoted later. Even if u get promoted, then no hike for the next few years.
Money is more important than position go for 45% hike . New people , new work , new learning..
Grab the next offer asap ,even I have joined wipro in 2021 and have only got salary increment in 2 years with 8% increment
Better to leave the sinking ship, don't trust the management
