Hi Everyone ,
I joined as a B3 candidate 2 years ago in Wipro. I got 4 ratings and will be getting 4 ratings this year also.
So as per the process B3 to C1 will happen automatically or we need to talk to managers ?
Because as far as i understand 2 rating continuous rating of 4 and above have the eligibility to become C1.
Can someone guide me pls ?

Talk to L2 manager also. L2 will have many L1s under him and all will have their own preferred candidates for promotion. Moreover there is an interview also to clear, so nothing is automatic.

Talk with your L1 manager and showcase your extra efforts which you did apart from daily routine work in the project . L1 manager will nominate you for promotion.

Your position should demand C1 role otherwise you won’t get the promotion even if you are getting good rating. You may get better % during salary increase.
I suggest speak to your manager and take the additional role or responsibility so that you can reach the next band.

Isn’t MySkill-Z mandatory for B3 to C1 band promotion? Will there be any exception? I heard most of the folks didn’t qualify yet because it is tough to clear.

Why you want to cut your variable pay by promoting your self as C1. Make sure, you are reading policy and G&O for C1.
In short, bohot cutega. Stay in B3 and ask for long term onsite position
