Hi All, after serving 5 year's in this organisation i will keep my opinions here. This is not good organization from any point of view such as career growth, salary hikes etc. Sometimes they will not have project with them then also they will blam employee. TPD are worst person here. They will tag you anywhere irrespective of your future aspiration and technology stack. They will create situation for you that only option left with you is put your resignation either by putting in PIP or giving Needs Improvement Rating so that your salary will be reduced and you will start feeling low and depressed. They will make permanent wfo project or put you in night shift. Best way to handle them is keep you updated on lastest technology in market and catch good opportunity in market at proper time. Yearly icount performance rating is also big tragedy and favourism is more here for promotion and good rating.
I totally agree, they don't care what skills you have, I have just joined a month back, manager trying to put on any project irrespective of my skill, I am just exploring and soon leave it. I can't continue here. I am Java backend dev and they assigned me in one of support project with javascript. I raised my concern and manager said you can learn it. I can learn but I am not willing to work on Javascript or in support and now I am desperate to leave ASAP.
Totally should leave. IT service companies need generalists and not specialists. See how long you can survive in a service company with one skill..
I hear your concerns. Infosys, like any large organization, has its challenges. Staying updated and exploring opportunities can be wise. Remember, every experience is a learning opportunity.
Yes. It's true and corporate life. This is my personal experience someone may have very great experience here. I am not denying it.
