Trending @Infosys; Work life balance and toxic culture in Infosys

Does anyone feel like work life balance is becoming bad and managers and high cadre persons become more toxic these days than the previous year in Infosys? Why they become like this? or am I the only one who feels like this?

I left infy 4 month's back due to toxic culture and low salary issue. I was in infosys for almost 6 year's and it was my worst carrier phase🥲.

Actually it's true. I joined 4 months back. Still they are playing volleyball with me by giving different mappings. My friend works here from past 5 years. He said same. From this year like from April March slowly Infosys culture is getting corrupted itseems. Managers are becoming toxic. Not sure about exact reason. Infosys was famous for low salary before. But now even work culture is being corrupted.

Yeah they feel like giving salaries from their pockets and from last 9 months the manager is behaving like I did something wrong and with everyone he is behaving like that only almost. low salaries and now toxic and corrupted work culture 😭😭🐠

Any such managers you just cut the call drop and email to DM and HR and say you cannot work under him.

In my almost 4 years experience at Infosys, I worked with 3 different accounts, 7 managers but only one or two were good. Most of them feels like there are Narayan Murthy.

Few are good.. even my first manager is so good and still we are in contact and he used to treat me like brother and helped me so much in starting days and after that because of budget issue they shifted me to different team and here I have been in this team for the last 20 Months and at first he was so good but from the last 9 months he is behaving like I did something wrong and with everyone he is behaving like that only almost. Fed with his toxic behaviour and not even responding for leaves.

Its all depends on the team and manager , i have in the same project sonce hr beginning for past 4years . Very flexible timings and manager .

I have a few frnds in infy who complain about the toxic and no WLB , so i believe evrything boils down to the project and the manager

I have been in Infosys for almost 4 years 9 months and work with 5 different managers and my first managers are still in contact and still they treat me like brother and but this team I'm working here for almost 20 months and first they are very friendly and always encourage team and now this team managers, senior managers and high cadre people becoming toxic and not even responding for anything and always fighting with team. It's happening only from March. From that time only they are behaving like this.

Simple answer !! Lack of growth. Most legacy:big units in infosys are unable to grow. They have no idea on how to grow and unit top managements just will have review meetings and deck and shout at middle management for lack of growth. But no one has any plan or strategy for growth. They feel just having review calls, and pushing mid managers will cause automatic growth to happen. And when growth doesn’t happen they start questioning other things like leaves, RTO, skills and other minor operational things which would generally be ignored in high growth area. This pressure is them transferred by middle managers to jl4 and below . But if you see the smaller or high growth units folks there are having a good time with bonus, hikes and promotions and fast growth. Yes but that may be just 20-25% Infosys . Rest all going in this slow lane where people at top enjoyed good growth not due to their talent but due to being at right place at right times. But when tides change they have no clue what to do cause till now everything was happening on it’s own and they were just sitting at helm and taking credit 😀

Yeah they joined long back ago and conditions and everything changed from that time to now and they really don't have any idea and they even think shouting or scolding employees will make them scared and work more and deliver more at least for performance bonus and hikes and promotions. It's their only strategy which is failing and employees are leaving (just my assumption)

It looks like a strategic layoff planning, harassing resources and getting the resignation easily... No blame .. maintain companies reputation...

Yeah so many companies are removing people and Infosys choose this way may be
