Has anyone experienced a dip in work culture in Infosys in recent years. People are just worries about the work being done , no proper planning or management is happening.

Based on my experience and handling the talents i can say,
Talents who are really working hard to learn are lesser and we , managers rely on them because of client escalations. So, obviously work load will be more to hardworking guys and rewards also more for them.
On the second part, most of the newbies dont take responsibility, commitment and dedication on the work but want rewards and hikes multi fold.

I have been with infy since last 7 years
I observed people who became manager at infy and are in infy for more than 10-15 yrs are not good at managing Talent.
Another point is Talent who is working hard is getting more work and pressure. But they are not rewarded or appreciated at infy. And mangers are giving fake promises and exploring employees. On top of this I am seeing newly joined lateral are getting double or more ctc irrespective of skills

Sir , which rewards are you talking about? Infy’s image is gng down the drains…the hardworking folks are still getting peanuts compared to market…no exceptional benefits . Talented folks have already left infosys after serving 10-12 yrs with very good hikes because infy never gave them their dues. And management still think ppl work cause work is worship. Worship wont provide rent in a place like blr…money will

I am not an oldie in infy but yes, in my last 3 yrs i do see a difference in working style of management…right now it is just delivering the project, it puts a lot of load on folks who want to work and learn and folks who are a newbie or not professional are chilling…the work life balance is gone due to this…not sure what changed

exactly..

In infy managers rarely appreciate hardworking , honest and loyal employees. They give promotion to employees who are in notice period

I've been in infy for 3.5 years. I could say that managers are only to generate revenues and not for building the team, talent or fine-tuning them. They are more worried about their self growth rather than helping their own team a little bit to improvise.
