Trending @Infosys; Will I get released from Project if I put my papers?
I am not able to get release from a project, I am thinking of putting my papers and prepare for switch but will they release me from project once I do so or I have to continue doing the project work.

U will continue in the project while serving notice period.
Its a wrong assumption that ..as soon as we put down they will release from The project. Lets assume, really your manager wanted to release you after you put down, he needs to find a talent with suitable skill set, it takes at least 2 weeks for finding and getting client approval.
Once talent on boarded, you have to share the KT and again 3 weeks including shadowing.
So, min it takes atleast 2 months to move out of the project.
Now you can decide.
