I joined infy in Nov'21 as sse and got promoted to TA in Apr'23. Now I want to know when the next promotion will happen? Is it a rule that I have to be in TA for 2 years then only will it go ahead? Because I have even heard that a guy who is working in Infosys from starting got promoted from TA to TL in less than 2 years.
I think it's possible for promotion even less than 2 yrs also in ta role. Check with others in your unit and tell your manager that people who are junior to me have got promoted to tl now. Mention how critical you are to the project etc etc. All this would work if manager sees you as a valuable resource. Simultaneously explore ijp portal to move to other projects or try for offers in other companies too.
Don't wanna de motivate you but ta to tl promotion hike varies a lot from person to person across projects in same unit and even in same project. So better to try for offers outside as well
Usually how much percentage of the hike they give in ta to TL promotion. How much is fixed and how much in variable
It depends upon role maturity which is generally 18-24months (not sure)
After it really depends on the project you are working on
