Hi, I am in bench. Do i need to come to office. Also currently I am serving my notice period. One more month is left for my last day. Pls share ur thoughts. Suppose if hr asks to come to office, do i have any option to defer?

Yes, you generally need to come to the office even if on bench and serving notice. You can discuss with HR for any exceptions, but approval is crucial.
