Trending @Infosys; What is the BG team in Infosys in terms of HR?
One of my referrals is an ex infoscion. He has given technical, managerial and HR discussion is also done. He is waiting for an offer letter since more than a month now, when asked about this to HR, HR said " It's pending with BG team for approval of ex Infy as he re joining less than 3 years " What kind of approval is this? What is the impact on already agreed package? I don't think BG stands for Background in this case.
Only logical thing is Background check . If he parted on bad note last time there is a possibility his manager might have put do not rehire. In that case the scrutiny will be more. Or if he had low ratings in his last stint. Else this rage is fairly quick as all data is already avaiable to the hr
Thanks for the reply, in his last tenure he has worked for 4 and half years with Infy. And it is pending for BG approval for more than two weeks. You are correct all the details are with them.
