What is the reason for your resignation? Is is the impending NI or you got a better offer. If it’s impending NI you can wait. Cause then you will get an option to take/reject PIp. If reject PIp you can go out gracefully (immediately) with 5 months salary.
If you got a better offer they may reduce your notice period. If you push. But ratings will come out only December mid to end

This severance is applicable for Specialist Programmer also right? As we have slightly higher package don’t know whether they consider it?
It is impending NI only, I am currently looking for opportunities outside
