If I do only wfh for entire month. What could be the worst thing that could happen?

You won't have enough balance to apply wfh in the first place. If you don't apply any attendance, leave will get deducted. If you don't have enough leaves, it'll mark it as LOP. So, you lose income.

As per new RTO policy in most of the units has mandatory 10 days in office and any single day will need exceptional approval from Manger and 2nd level manager. If reason can be justified then He or She can approve. Some of the cases are pulled by HR for audit purposes from senior leadership and if needed can be asked to produce proofs. Better to stick within allowed limit days to avoid loss of payment.
