Trending @Infosys; WFH Balance issue
I am seeing that I am getting only 2 WFH balance that too on weekly basis, but i was told that Infosys has 10 days a month wfo policy hence i joined thinking that i will be able to spend rest 18-20 days in my hometown which almost 700 KM from my base location (base location is also the nearest location)
I got to see few people are getting WFH balance on monthly basis and fewer are getting hours as balance as well
What can I do? I am new to Infy so please give genuine suggestions
I also have the same two days of WFH each week. I tried reaching out to the manager to request a change, but I was informed that it's determined by the client, and unfortunately, they’re unable to make any adjustments. Btw are you from the ADM unit?

Okay. I also have the same condition as you hometown 500+km away. I reached out to my GPM for the same and he replied that whenever you want to go home just put me in approval and inform me earlier but remember that they also have to give answer to HR so keep it minimum as possible 😐
I believe its because of your unit
And unless or until you have a valid reason
They won’t change
And 700 kms from hometown they won’t accept as a reason
Infosys does not have a universal WFH policy. It gets changed based on client and unit. Honestly, it will be very difficult to revert to 10 days monthly but you can try
