Trending @Infosys; Warning emails for overworking?

Economic Times is reporting Infy sent emails to employees for working more than 9.25 hours. Who actually got that email because I haven't heard about this at all! Sounds like some kind of dream after that 70 hr work week drama.. Or is this just another rumor and a way to make Infy look good lol

Simply they want each employee to work from the office at least 9 hours if we don't do so it will impact on average working hours suppose you are going office 3.5 hours or maybe 4 and while doing wfh you are managing that hours so that you don't come under defaulter list 😂😂 sab yeda banane ke bussiness hai yeh

Absolute bullshit !! HR finds new new ways of giving lip service. Yes we are getting emails if our average hours are over 10 or if we regularly leave office after 8. Instead of attacking root cause they are putting superficial balm. Now managers are telling employees not to put more than 10 hours even if they are actually working. If you are serious stop access of everyone moment he logs 8 hours in laptop , it can be easily tracked if they want. Exception only on scenarios where managers approve. And If more than 1 week exception in a month escalate to DM. No clients calls after 9pm. If they are serious they should be doing things like this. Not sending emails which nobody bothers about or ends up forcing employees to put wrong facts in system under pressure from their managers !! Then HR will take credit of bringing an average hours down on paper whereas reality is different.

Completely agreed.. they offboard people from projects for not spending 8 hours on VDI but won't provide any actual benefit or action when you exceed 9 hours of work regularly.. Hypocrisy at its best.
