Actually I am handling the team , resolving client issues, prod issues , reporting teams status to manager in case of lead unavailable/ or when lead is busy with some non technical task since last 6 months.
But now when i asked for promotion to TL they said I don't have that skills , eligibility and experience to get promotion to TL.
Now they hire someone from outside with the same YOE and skills as me with better pay scale to TL position and They asked me to train a new person for TL position.
So as per management i am not skilled enough to get promoted to TL but i have that skills to train a person for that same post.
As per management i can train a person to take up TL position in team but i cant be prompted to that position due lack of skills
Infy is the worst in the case of resource management. Feeling sad for myself for wasting a year in infy.
