Trending @Infosys; Use earned leaves or lop?

I have 27 earned leaves , but I need to take 45 days leave Should I apply with earned leaves every day or use Loss of payment option while applying?

So breaking down your 27 days EL, you can apply for 5 week + 2 days, (correct) One quick trick, Lets say you want to take leave from next coming week.

Week 1 (19th-23rd) So, you already have 17th-18th (sat sunday),

5 days leave + 24th - 25th = 9 days

Week 2 (26th-30th) 5 days leave + 31st - 1st = 7 days
Week 3 (2nd-6th) 5 days leave + 7th-8th = 7 days
Week 4 (9th-13th) 5 days leave + 14th-15th = 7 days
Week 5 (16th-20th) 5days leave + 21st-22nd = 7 days
Week 6 (23rd - 28th) 2 days leave = 2 days

Adding 1,2,3,4,5,6 = 39 days total leaves, You can get leave advance for 5 more days, thats adds 7 more days , so “46 days” in total.

An earned leave is worth ur basic pay when u encash it after resignation. I'm not sure but LOP 'may' be worth ur avg salary of the day which is more than basic pay. Confirm compare decide.
