Trending @Infosys; US salary hike post role change?
I'm in the initial stages of the H1B process. I'm due for promotion in July, I am expecting a 10-20% hike. Would the role change also increase US salary? If everything goes well I should travel to the states by the end of this year. Thanks.
Yes role change also increases us salary. Your assignment will be raised based on your role. Since you are counting your chickens before they hatch letting you know that your initial assignment on-site salary will be based on your current role .
If and when your promotion happens and it’s time for you to go they will raise a new assignment based on your role at that point. At onshore every role has fixed bracket based on city. Usually a difference of 12-15kUSD per user difference on each role
