Trending @Infosys; Unserved Notice Period payout

Hi All

My LWD was 25th Nov , it has been changed to 31st Oct for an early release after my manager gave me the Green Light. While approving both the approvers selected Waive Off Notice Period option as No as a result I got a mail to pay 54k rupees to Infosys for unserved notice period though the release has been done from project side and I did not ask for it. I am thinking of mailing the HR keeping both my approvers in cc. Any other suggestions.
