Trending @Infosys; Unfair Role Allocation
I got into Infosys via campus recruitment and I feel it would have been better if I remained unplaced than to be recruited here. During the recruitment process they told me that I was not eligible for the position of Senior Associate Consultant because I didn't have 3 YOE even though I had 2.5 YOE, all relevant. Now after working in this company for more than a year, slogging my a$$ off only for LBAs to take credit for all the work, a couple of graduate freshers who have worked here for 1.5 years have been promoted to senior associate. This makes absolutely no sense to me! How can the company promote someone who is much less qualified than someone with higher educational qualifications and relevant YOE!! Not even a single experience, from the day or the interview till now, has been good one

I am assuming you are an MBA and the other junior guys you are talking about are engineers .. itβs a technology company;

They're non engineering background bachelor grads.
Even if they were engineers, why would a complete place someone with more YOE in a lower job level
P.S. but I feel engineers take more credit than required. not to brag....during my training i topped with the highest scores in every test even though a lot of people were from engineering background.

It is tiime to look outside opportunity now.

People in bench for 2.5years without any project are promoted π

What even π§

Congratulations Infosys University mai apka swagat hai

I never heard who got senior associate with 1.5 years.. senior associate is JL4A to get into JL4B itself it will take 3 years.

It's better to have something rather be an empty handed fellow. U just got an exposure, do not think much , just prepare urself and put down the paper . This is Infosys one cannot expect fair practice bro. The only thing is ur job is a little more secure than other private companies that's it, but this is not for which one should compromise of u get good opportunity.
