Trending @Infosys; Transfer to Nearest DC!

Hi Everyone, I have one question, my nearest DC is Kolkata, as it is newly built DC, my Base DC is Bhubaneswar. I want to transfer to my Nearest DC Kolkata, but the manager is saying that we don't have the child code of the project, so not possible. Is there any way to get Transfer without changing the project!!
