Trending @Infosys; Too much justification for a salary which actually is peanuts

What's this new thing called April check-in , January check-in, quarterly check-in and what not. Why all this nonsense isn't year end icount thing enough? Like why infosys is hellbent in complicating simple shit and ask people to keep justifying their salary. Like don't the manager's are not aware of their team and their work ? Tired of all this bullshit.

Some HR got outstanding rating after making this proposal !! Obviously the idea is manager and their team connect more often rather than once a year during rating time. But does it really happen ?? (A big no). In most horizontal units managers have no real way of knowing what /how their subordinates is doing as they are not in same project. So he/she is at mercy of client and other managers feedback. And in many accounts even taking client feedback is not encouraged .

I have put NA for some of the questions. Actually wanted to put NA for all 😂 but thought it might sound rude. So wrote something generic answers for those shitty questions like "...what went well ?" "...how manager can help achieve the goal" "what could have been better".

Same is happening with Manager's also it seems only JL7 and above are immune to this as they have more of Autonomousity over their most of the affairs
