Trending @Infosys; Tips for a Smooth Infosys Exit?
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to plan a smooth exit from Infosys and would appreciate some advice.
My goal is to complete one year here (which will be in the last week of December) so that it looks good on my resume. I’m also planning to visit the US for 2–3 weeks around October this year.
I’m hoping to get released from my project (or stay on the bench) after my probation ends in June. Meanwhile, I’m actively applying and aiming to secure a new job offer before October.
My main concern is: how can I manage a 2–3 week US trip while being on bench or without getting into any major leave complications?
Would love to hear if anyone has handled a similar situation — any tips on managing bench time, taking leaves, and timing the resignation would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance!

Doesn’t look like you want a smooth exit . You want the company to pay for a 3 month no work/bench period. If you are not on project and resign good chance you will just be asked to leave immediately. And why should they put a billable resource on bench that too a resource who has just spent 6 months on project.

I don’t think they would give me 3 weeks of leave without this approach.. so I’m just trying to play their game

Apply now itself and keep. Why will they deny if it’s planned in advance and you have leaves to take. But that is also not a possibility . You will not have 3 weeks leaves currently. Atleast apply whatever you have and add later . But inform them over email. Your original plan won’t work . People don’t get released from project just because they want to be released .

Don't perform well you never get a smooth release.😂 Do under performance they will give you a resignation with several month salary on same day with clear BG that will not impact your career.

Sounds good but what’s the I Difference?😂
