Trending @Infosys; Time taken by HR to roll out promotion letter?
How much time do HR take to share promotion letters once my manager has given my name for promotion to them.
It happens on a quarterly basis.
For example the next quarter name will be sent by your manager in Feb ending and then leadership will have a discussion over names and and few names will be selected.
Which name will be selected they will be getting a promotion letter in next quarter (Apr, May & June) on the first week of April
This is incorrect. Slots are released at the beginning of the quarter. Based on this, the manager nominates, which is then reviewed and locked by the DM. If everything goes well, letters are sent in the middle of the quarter and become effective in the same quarter.
So my DM communicated that he sent couple lf days back, in that case when shall i receive the letter, because other colleagues already received it earlier this month.
