Trending @Infosys; Thinking to resign, your suggestions please

I joined Infy in Aug 2021, didn’t received hike in 2022. FY22-23 got just 8% hike in Dec 2023 with 1 month arrear, and now there is no update on FY23-24 hike. I’m unable to meet the expenses. I’m getting ME rating all these years.

I’m thinking to resign without an offer letter in hand. I’m currently in a project, an it’s going to end in Q1 of FY25. Most of the work is completed in the project.

Will Infy let me serve complete 90 days NP or will release early. I want 90days to search a new job.

By the way you are damn lucky that you have got one hike even with ME rating . Most JL5 who joined in 2021 are yet to get any hike for last 3.5 years

I am not as experienced as you but my views are ....like if you are well prepared for the interviews then don't resign apply e separation and in 90 days try everything to get an offer. And If not prepared then just resign and prepare hard and apply harder.

Ok so you want Infy to pay for 3 months without project so that you can prepare for the shift!!! Likely won’t happen. If you put paper while on bench they will release you immediately. But if your project still has more than 40-50 days left you most likely can be here for full 90 days

You can apply for resign.. 90 days will be your notice period

Why Infy wouldn’t let you serve 90 days notice? They will until and unless you have bad ratings, ME is not bad. You can put papers and search for a better job!

Project cannot release to bench when you are in notice period.

do you have reserve funds or support system to take care of your needs for next 3-6 months ? Can you bear the stress and pressure if u dont get any offer down the line 3-6 months postvseparation from your current job ? it really takes something to resign without offer. Get an offer and resign if you want peaceful days till you get offer.
