Trending @Infosys; Testing role is good or not

I'm a fresher and right now I'm at bench from a month. I'm getting an opportunity for testing role should I opt it or wait for other development opportunities because I have interest in development. My other concern is that do I have the option to not opt that testing role opportunity.
