Trending @Infosys; TCS BGC process

One of my old colleague got selected to TCS, and he is asking my Infy emial Id. He said there is a BGC process that need an Infy employee official email Id, and TCS will send a form and I've to submit some of the details like how much tenure i worked with him, at what capacity. I've not heard such BGC, am I allowed to do this ? Please someone respond.
