Hi all, I have joined Infy few months back as a lateral hire and assigned with one project under production status couple of months back. My manager has told me that there was some issue in client Bgv due to which they have sent an exception approval request to the client. If they don’t give approval then I have to look for another project is what they told me. Is it healthy to be with no tasks and get a new project now?
It's not ideal to be without tasks for long. Use this time to reskill or look for internal job postings. If it drags on, discuss with your manager or consider other opportunities.
@BogusGelatin Thanks! Will do… But is this really common at Infosys?? Like being in a project under production and not doing any tasks?? Is it safe in terms of employment and any idea about my job confirmation after probation…
