Trending @Infosys; TA to AC through bridge

Is it worst choice to apply AC through bridge program as a recently promoted TA. Does it change compensation structure if I clear?

I think TA is JL4 and AC is JL 4B which is lowest in 4th JL, I don't understand why this transition

For compensation revision, I m TA with 5 lpa package only, AC has fixed compensation of 7.5 at least. But my doubt is, as both roles are jl4, does comp revision happens or not.

I think guys in comments have some confusion. TA comes under JL 4B and ACON comes under 4A spectrum. But criteria was allowed from SSE to ACON. Now u can wait for 1 year in TA, and directly go for Senior Acon which will be 5A. And yes, any transition will have change in compensation structure. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the clarification.

It's the reverse actually, ACON is JL4B and TA is JL4A. There is no B in JL4 and JL5 in Delivery Stream. But we have A and B in JL4 and JL5 in Consulting Stream.

If you are possible recently to TA you cannot nominate for bridge programs for some time.

No, I can able to nominate for AC but not for consultant role through bridge

If u are already getting 7.5 then it will be like 10% hike from current salary

I m getting 5 only , in my case what will happen

Though TA role is JL 4A & AC is JL 4B, if u get selected via Bridge, u will get 7.5 lpa. So it's a good choice in case of compensation.

Yes it will change compensation. Ac will have 7.5 ctc. So no matter how much ctc you are getting now. You will get 7.5 once you got selected to ac
