Trending @Infosys; Systems Engineer Fresher
Hi all, I recently got selected on campus for Systems Engineer role at infosys. They said they will take another test to upgrade to Specialist Programmer , does anyone have any info regarding that. I am graduating in 2025 and training starts in june. There was also a mention of winter internship for some students starting feb. I would really appreciate any and all insights and advice you guys can give.
Also few questions - Will infosys let me upgrade after joining? Are there tests like tcs has twice a year for upgrading? If yes then how many times a year can we give them?
1 st of all If you have no offer then this , then only join. Because yearly hikes they delay and give peanuts.
Specialist programmer and Alcon are two exams which can increase compensation to 7.5 to 9 lpa.
Specialist programmer is the tougher one.
If you will continue as System Engineer then even after 4 years of completion you will hardly getting 6 lpa max
If you are graduating in 2025, i am guessing it would be somewhere around may-june right, even if it is earlier you still have 3-4 months to cracka better company, don't join unless any other offer is not present, even as a specialist programmer you wont receive hikes and all which is necessary to beat inflation and on top of that 90days notice period is very difficult to manage, you won't be able to switch so easily
