I joined Infosys 3 months before. Still I am in bench. I am getting 9LPA(including variable pay). Is it a good idea to switch company if I am getting 12 LPA in another small company.

First talk with that companies employees through LinkedIn and all you will get to know how is the culture and then decide

Yep def. It surely seems tempting to just sit on bench and get the pay but remember you are also increasing your "experience" for the next company. So if you are getting a good relevant project over there (the company shouldn't be too small for job security reasons) I'd suggest you to switch.
