I am earning 10.3lpa at 3.4YOE but i want to switch, and whenever any company approaches me via naukri.com they ask for expected ctc, how much should i ask for at minimum, as i don't want to get low balled and also not lose the opportunity it self by saying a very high number. So how much should I ask for. Given that i am quite skilled in Java stack.
15 to 20 LPA
My friend with a similar YOE and tech stack as yours recently switched from current ~6LPA to ~16LPA, so you can ask in a similar range too or higher.
Atleast above 15 LPA!
You can ask up to 16L to 17PA fixed easily. Based on the interview given, you can go beyond 18L as well. Skilled employees can be taken at any cost. So negotiate wisely based on the role and budget for that company.
Write 15 but in final round ask for 18
