Trending @Infosys; Suggestion required.From SP L2,L3 etc

I joined infosys as specialist programmer L1 as fresher with a CTC of 9.5 LPA in june 2022.My current CTC is 9.88.3 rating cycles met expectations Oct 2022 , CD Oct 2023 and will be CD for Oct 2024.Each time when I ask my mentor about progression to L2 he says first thing experience and second he wants me to participate in meakthons,write articles on platforms like medium,do open source contribution and xyz.I am only intrested in 2 things completing my projects because I am getting paid for doing it and coding Competitive programming on codeforces because I enjoy or love it.Even though I tried doing all those like wrote articles on medium, became mentors for 2 WABE cohorts etc then he told me to fill a form but no update yet.I think my rating will be released in this month.I am think of asking him if I will be recommended in end of December for progression I may receive the letter in end march or April start if not I tell him I look for other opportunities outside infosys otherwise my progression would be in june or July 2025.Please let me know if my thought process is correct.
