Trending @Infosys; Specialist Programmer WLB and Location

How is wlb and the type of work in the projects after selection to Specialist Programmer (SP). Currently I am working as a SAC, and was wandering if the preparation and selection to the Power Programmer bridge program worth the time investment. Would like know the change in experience and environment from anyone who has moved from any consultant role to the specialist programmer. Also is there any location DC restriction for this SP role or we can continue from our current base DC?
