Trending @Infosys; Should I resign or stay?
I have been working in Infosys for the last 3 years but did not get a hike. Only for 4% last year. I am trying for the last 6 months to switch but not able to because of the 3 months notice period. I don't know what I should do as I have a small daughter and can't relocate with her. Currently staying at my native place. Iam stuck in my mind whether i should stay or take risks to serve notice period?

You need to first plan on what to do next! Perform a thorough analysis of your skillset. If you are able to crack an interview with your talent then straight away resign or if you are not confident then upskill yourself and do the assessment again after you are confident.

Same with me , even got information internally and that since few got hiked last year so they won't be eligible for this year, and also my manager said it upfront that , if you are getting better opportunities outside go for it.
I am paid 3 lpa less than what it should be the lowest salary for that band. Still infy is not doing the market correction
@StunningVan0 piece of advice do not put down the paper unless u have something in your hand.
And now that you are a family man, think twice.
Even if u have an offer in hand, do not rush into things.
I have exact similar situation.

Same happened with me , one company revoked its offer later just because I couldn't join them early . They gave me an 80 % hike. Now I am serving notice period with no offer in my hand and I am thinking and I won't withdraw my resignation. There are very few companies which accept 90 days notice period wipro/TCS/Accenture. No one generates offer latter for 3 months later.

I think you should take risk if you are confident about your tech stack, and if you are not confident give 2-3 months more upskill and then resign and look for opportunities. Meanwhile while these 2-3 months you are upskilling, try to cold email people specially the companies which generally allow 3 months np

Go ahead and look for new opportunities.
