Hi Viners, I have working in 2-11 shift but i am not getting allowance,whom should i contact my manager telling we don’t get allowance, only the people working in NAM shifts are elgible for allowances.
2-11 pm shift is not a shift for which you get allowance. As per infy rules, if you worked for 2-4 hours post 10 PM you get Rs. 250 per night and if you work for 4 hours or more then you get Rs. 400 per night (this is extra over your salary). You’ll get this allowance if you are mapped to a shift (which means you’d be working in this time shift for a longer period of time).
Also, you need to work in a batch of 5 days that means if you work for straight 4 days in night shift then you’ll not get allowance but if you work for lets say 5/10/15/20 days then only you get this allowance.
Please check the night allowance policy. It’s there I’m infy me. But sometimes projects don’t have provision for night shift allowance. But still folks are made to work for free in those timings
Please connect with your bphr, include your manager
Raise an AHD for NSA process. You should get allowance for those shift timings. But it also depend on your project policy. Better to ask HR.
