I was in a project for 2 years, One day I mailed to my manager that can you map me in a new project as I want to learn some new technologies, Now he fired me from that project and I'm on bench, don't know what to do now.
Your overestimated the power of your manager !!! Did you thjnk he has many projects in different technologies under him that he can move your around so that you can learn many technologies !! Yiur release may have very little to do with you email , if managers start releasing based on email half of infosys would be very happy and on bench !!! Most likely there was a budget cut and since you wanted release you got it first. Infosys is not a school/college where you can go and Learn new technologies of yiur choice. It’s a business, what work/learning you have done on your own in these so called new technologies which will be useful for infosys projects which use them hence would want you onboarded
