I'm an engineer here, and lately I've been struggling with question: What's the meaning of life? I'm paid okay, but then again I don't want to live from one paycheck to next.
Some days I wonder if I'm making any real impact on the world. Are the projects I work on actually improving people's lives? Or am I just another cog in the corporate machine?
I'm curious how others, especially those in tech who're in their mid 30s, have found purpose and fulfillment. Have you discovered meaning through your work? Or have you found it outside your 9-to-5 in hobbies, relationships, or personal projects?
Sometimes I think about switching careers to something more "meaningful"

Go to NGOs at least a month rather planning to eat expensive food. If I tell you my perspective, I am working towards constructing a monthly fund to parents, this is my purpose of life.
