I have 3.1 years of experience but my designation is still SE. I have recently joined from SUREADM to ENGNE and asked my new manager to give my name for SSE promotion? But after SSE when can I ask for a TA promotion? Or Can I ask for direct promotion to TA as I have 3+ years of experience?

I am not sure and i don’t think you can get directly promoted skipping the SSE. You can and should definitely get promoted to SSE until now. Please ask asap to your manager. And after 4 years or before that you can ask for TA or probably switch before or after your TA promotion since as per 4 year experience the package is very less as per market standards
