Trending @Infosys; SCN received from HRD due to RTO violations. Looks like my opsmanager didit

Hi guys,

I received SCN from HRD since I was working from home since last week till project started in 2022. After repeated reminders, I am finally in base location ie pune dc which I already communicated to HRD. However they issued me an SCN and are asking me to respond to SCN.

The issue is I recd. verbal approval for WFH due to medical health issues which I shared the reports for. but no approval is written on the mailchains by any managers.

As per SCN they’ve clearly mentioned that if my explanation is not fit , they can take disciplinary action not only limited to termination from company.

What do they exactly mean by “not limited to termination from company”

Dont panic..just explain tje things smoothly and politely. Mostly they dont take any action

I had issues with managers micromanagement and discrimination for which I raised complaint. Can that be cause of this. Previously it never occurred

I started working from pune already from 3 march. If I didn’t oblige I think they would have already terminated by now.

@InnocentApp49 hi, how did u respond to this, I’m getting mails stating u have not adhere to WFO policy. It’s not show cause notice, but I feel I will soon get it.

First of all, HR should terminate those managers who are giving work from home exceptions. The company is already giving WFH flexibility. Those who are taking advantage of WFH, your promotion and hike might be impacted because the final decision will be taken by HR and they will consider all parameters. Manager's recommendation will not work.
