Is it true that Infosys is planning for normalisation of salaries up to JL5 in this feb 2025 hike cycle? People working in infy frm start will be benefited from this or what?

If this was true, My retention hike should have been atleast 50%. They told they'd give me 20% max and not one rupee more and I put papers immediately. P.S. I am a consistent performer and manager didn't want to lose me, yet Unit HR didn't consider revising my Salary..

Salary normalisation is a myth, it’s term used when some people don’t get a hike whereas others do. Normalisation is never done at mass scale. What your manager might be trying to say is they might take extra care for you. A general hike is assigned to everyone based on their rating, unit performance and what org has decided as average. Then DM has some say to increase few critical folks salary a bit more at cost of reducing someone else hike. But he won’t do it at mass scale as there is not enough budget for him to play around.

So if you are dreaming that normalisation means everyone with same experience same JL will get same salary . That will never happen
